Who we are

This website is operated by Ivy Surrogacy, a full-service surrogacy and egg donation agency headquartered in California and licensed by the New York State Department of Health.

Ivy Surrogacy is the business responsible for the personal information collected through this site.

Enquiries you submit through this site are received and handled by Ivy Surrogacy.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, the state you live in, your age, whether you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and whether you have given birth previously.

We ask about age and birth history because they determine eligibility to be a gestational surrogate. Some of this may be treated as health-related information under certain privacy laws, and we handle it accordingly.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and to keep the site running.

We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, and no advertising cookies.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and answer your questions
  • To assess whether you meet the basic eligibility requirements for surrogacy
  • To provide agency services if you choose to proceed
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and licensing obligations
  • To protect the site against abuse and fraud

If you are in the EU or UK, our legal basis is your consent when you submit a form, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.

Who we share it with

Surrogacy involves coordinated medical and legal work, so delivering the service requires sharing information with the professionals involved. We may share your information with:

  • IVF clinics and healthcare providers involved in screening, treatment, and care
  • Reproductive attorneys handling contracts and parentage orders
  • Service providers who work on our behalf — such as hosting, communications, and case management systems — under obligations to protect it
  • Regulatory authorities, where required by law or licensing rules

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not pass your details to unrelated marketers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiry and contact data: until you ask us to delete it, or when it is no longer needed
  • After a deletion request: permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Medical and legal records, where a case proceeds: retained as required by applicable law, typically 7 years or more
  • Marketing communications data: until you unsubscribe

Cookies and third-party services

This site sets only the cookies needed for it to function — for example, keeping your form session intact. There are no analytics, advertising, or profiling cookies, so there is nothing to opt into or out of.

Fonts are served from this website rather than from a third-party font CDN, so viewing a page does not disclose your IP address to a font provider.

One third-party service is involved in delivering the site: Cloudflare hosts it and provides security, processing IP addresses to serve pages and block attacks.

Your rights

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it; to request a copy; to request correction or deletion; and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is no opt-out mechanism to use.

If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your data; to object to or restrict processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@ivysurrogacy.com. We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.

Children

This site is intended for adults. Gestational surrogates must be at least 21 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
